Tony Richardson, CLU, has built a distinguished career in financial services spanning several decades and leadership roles with respected firms. He began with Travelers Life, Health, and Financial Services (LHFS), quickly advancing from direct sales into sales management, where he helped expand the Memphis office in the 1980s before serving as State Manager in South Carolina (1987-1993) and later in Tennessee, his desired post. He went on to serve as Regional Vice President with ReliaStar/Washington Square Securities for six years before joining Woodbury Financial Services in 2001, where his role as Regional VP for Tennessee and Kentucky expanded to seven states. Over 24 years with Woodbury, Advisor Group, and Osaic Wealth, Tony led sales management, recruiting, and field supervision with a focus on advisor independence and practice growth—experiences he considers the highlight of his career. He attributes his success to the colleagues and advisors he had the privilege to work alongside, as well as the unwavering support of his wife of 42 years, Terry. Together they have two children, Holland and Walter, and three grandchildren, who remain at the heart of his motivation both personally and professionally.
